Does More Money Equal More Happiness?
Money is an important part of our lives. It affects us in all areas, either directly or indirectly. Many people say that money doesn’t buy happiness. But most of us think that money will make us happy. As far as I know money makes me happy because it enables me to buy food, house for my family and send my children to good schools. Money can affect our relationships, too. But the question arises, does more money mean more happiness?
Happiness is Important
Maintaining a healthy balance in areas of one’s life by shifting priorities from money being the only goal to greater self development and understanding ”happiness” is important. Healthy development and understanding of happiness depending on one’s mindset, beliefs, attitudes and behavior should be made priority before chasing money alone. The more we know ourselves, the greater chances we will succeed and the happier we will be. Maybe the truth is money plays a big part in achieving happiness but there are a lot of things that you have to do in order to live a happy life. Having money helps immensely as many of the things that you have to do either costs money or involves money.
