Feeling The Pinch? Fight Back!

Hopefully someone isn’t actually pinching you, we’re talking about the pinch in your pocket from your finances. We all feel it at some point or another, in fact, we all feel it pretty much constantly. That money we work so hard for each day in the week suddenly flies away nearly minutes after it is put into our bank accounts. We live this way for years, and we spend what may feel like a lifetime moaning about it. So is it not time to start fighting back? Life’s too short to sit around worrying about money all of the time, so we’ve got some ways that you can fight the pinch away. Have a  read of the advice we’ve got below.

The Big Drainers

Arguably one of the biggest drainers of money has to be a car. If you don’t own one, you might as well put off owning one for as long as possible. As soon as you get one money just seems to fly away. But one hack we have for you is taking out something such as an Audi factory warranty, or a similar manufacturer depending on what car you have. If there’s one thing people don’t consider when getting a car, it’s that something will eventually go wrong with it if you have it long enough. They might be beneficial for the most time, but when something does go wrong it does have a massive impact on your finances, as well as your lifestyle. You don’t realise how much you need and appreciate a car until it is stripped away. Another big drainer is your phone bill surprisingly. Branded high street stores charge an absolute fortune for you to take out a contract, but you do it because you want that nice new phone. But, if you’re in a two year contract, you’re still going to be paying through the nose when that phone is old and outdated. Consider doing a SIM only deal, you’ll be much better off.

The Big Earners

If you’re feeling the pinch, then you need to think about whether it is time to earn more money. The first way you can do this is by doing a little side hustle at home, one of the easiest being through blogging. If you have a story to tell, or if you’re always out doing something, then this is the perfect route for you. All you need to do is fine a domain name, find a theme, and start writing about the things you like doing. Then you can gain a following by using social media and blogger events. Before you know it you’ve got companies coming to you with the offer of paying you to publish a post, or paying you to write a review. Don’t get us wrong, it does take a while to get to the stage where you’re making decent money, but it is a fun and easy journey to go on.

Now you should realise a few ways that you can fight back at the pinch. Leave a comment if you have any more advice!
