Dramatically Increase Your Income Starting Today
Money might not be everything, but it is pretty important if you want to be able to keep a roof over your head and live the kind of life you desire. So, if we’re honest, most of us could do with a little (or a lot) more cash that would enable us to live more comfortably and do all of the things we enjoy.
The good news is that whether you’re earning a lot of money or a modest amount, there are numerous things you can do to start dramatically increasing your income today. It might take a while for your efforts to pay off, or it might happen almost instantaneously, but if you take some or all of the following steps, you should see results in a boost to your bank account…
Do Something Different
It’s obvious but if what you’re doing right now isn’t giving you the kind of results, in monetary terms, that you would like to see, then change something! They say that insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different result, and that is as true for work as it is for anything else, so if you aren’t reaping the rewards for your career, change it! Retrain, enrol in one of the many online msn nursing programs, start your own business and find a way of making more money. You owe it to yourself to try out new avenues and to see what is really possible for you.
Or Do Things the Same for More Money
On the other hand, if you’re already working as, say a copywriter, and you like what you do, you could increase the amount of money you make by launching your own business, freelancing or consulting, where you set your own prices and keep more of the profits than you do as an employee. Yes, it might be more work, and you may have to do it alongside your day job at first, but with hard work comes reward.
Ask for a Raise
It’s so obvious that it’s amazing how few people actually bother to do this! I know it can be pretty daunting and you can be scared of rubbing the boss up the wrong way, but if you work hard and you get results for your company, then there is no reasons why you shouldn’t ask for a raise, and it is actually not the big deal you might think it is. If you’re brave enough to ask for more money, you might just be pleasantly surprised by the answer you receive.
Switch Up Your Schedule
A good way of maximizing your profits if you are self-employed or run your own business is to switch up your schedule so that you put those some 20- percent of activities that produce 80 percent of your wealth first. If you can cut down on the admin and other tasks that don’t produce a profit and focus on money-earning tasks first and above all else, you will generally make more profits.
Say No
You might wonder how saying no to some jobs will make you more money – surely if you turn down work it will lead to a smaller bank account? – but in most companies, there are some jobs that have such vanishingly small returns that they are little more than a waste of time and turning them down so that you can concentrate on higher paying jobs or activities that will build your income is a more sensible option.
